One of the things that we really were looking forward to was the chance to have a go at making some things for the home like a mosaic mirror or picture frame.
Nice looking items often cost loads of money and thats an expense that we just cant afford when you have a baby (and a house) to look after.
We got started on our mirrors and picture frames, and by the end of our hour we had got quite a long way (some further than others as they restarted a few time)
We look forward to finishing our mosiacs in a couple of weeks time.

Who are we and what do we do ?
Our young mums group meets in the Allandale, Burford Road, Carterton every Friday from 2pm to 4.30pm. (Creche provided from 2.30 to 3.30 so mums can have a hard earned break)
We get together, have a cuppa and a chat and do things like arts and crafts, healthy eating, parenting skills and much much more.
If you are a young mum aged 21 or under in the Carterton (or surrounding villages) area then why not come along!
Feeling nervous? Call Shelley the youth worker that helps to run the group she can meet you before hand and introduce you to the group phone on 01993 842416 to talk to her more about the group!

- 13th July - First Aid Part 2
- 20th July - Treasure hunt and picnic on the rec (Bring your own picnic lunch)
